Playset TEGELO 2

Play involving elements of crawling refers to activities in which a child moves in a low position, typically lying on their stomach and propelling themselves using their arms and/or legs—such as belly crawling or squeezing under obstacles. These types of play are highly beneficial for developing coordination, muscle strength, and sensory integration.

Play involving integrative elements for children with and without disabilities refers to activities specifically designed to engage both children with disabilities and typically developing children together. The goal is to create opportunities where all children can play side by side, fostering mutual acceptance, cooperation, and respect regardless of their differences.

Play involving interactive devices refers to activities where the child engages in active interaction with various devices or equipment that respond to their actions. These devices are not merely passive objects for play — they react to the child’s movement, touch, sound, or other signals, creating a dynamic, responsive play experience.

Play involving elements of rotation refers to activities where the child engages in movements involving turning around their own axis or rotating various objects. This may include spinning their body as well as manipulating toys or items that rotate.

Play with elements of “socialization” is play that helps children learn social contacts and relationships — that is, how to cooperate, communicate, share, resolve conflicts, and understand others.

Play with elements of “role-playing” is play in which children take on and imitate various characters, situations, or social roles. This allows them to experiment with behaviors, imagination, and learn different social skills.

Play with elements of “sensory integration” is an activity that helps the child better receive, process, and respond to sensory stimuli (touch, movement, sight, hearing, proprioception).

Play with elements of “game with rules” is an activity in which the child participates in play or a game that has specific rules to follow.

Play with elements of “manipulation,” such as sliding, is an activity in which the child uses hands or fingers to consciously grasp, move, rotate, or arrange objects.

Play with elements of “sheltering” is an activity in which the child uses places or spaces that can serve as hiding spots or safe corners.
